We are a Mum and daughter team based in the beautiful town of Coffs Harbour on the Mid North Coast of NSW. We make and sell small collections of jewellery and accessories and have lots of amazing products to suit all occasions. 

How the journey began…

My name is Lisette and I am the owner of Bliss by Lis 🌻 I am a Primary School teacher, wife and Mum to one wild toddler named Nicholas… I have always had an enthusiasm for all things crafty and get joy and excitement from being creative. 

I started this side hustle in 2018, as a way for me to explore my creative side and have an outlet outside of teaching. I love all things jewellery, earrings and accessories. 

One holiday I was busy setting up my classroom for the year, when I realised I had forgotten one important piece, my lanyard! I am obsessed with the colour mint green (can't half tell, lol!) and after searching for days I couldn't find what I was looking for. So I decided to make my own! And this was when the journey began!!!

From there my business grew and I have now started creating a wide range of products. Some of these include: keychains, bangles, studs, dangles, Mother-to-be gift boxes, Teacher gift boxes and even collaborating with local businesses to make Christmas boxes. 

Co-owner of BLISS BY LIS and best friend…

Since my business has grown I have been unable to maintain the work alone and this is where my amazing Mother and Best Friend, Kaye has come along for the ride. Amongst Kaye's busy schedule of working at a local radio station, being Nanny to Nicholas and enjoying her retired life she helps out by creating products for Bliss by Lis! I love that I get to work alongside my Mama every day and boss her around a little! Although she would beg to differ!

We strive ourselves on making high quality handmade items that are also affordable. Where possible, we source our wholesale products and materials from Australian suppliers and we love to support other local businesses here in Coffs Harbour.
